Your support is extremely important to our 2009-2010 individual giving campaign. This campaign provides crucial financial support for our overall programs and services and also creates important personal connections between donors and the children YAH so effectively serves.

We hope that you will consider allocations to one or more of the following areas listed below:

YAH General Programs and Services; this is the core of our organization, providing for the staff, artists and infrastructure that develop, promote, evaluate, and refine the YAH programs and services that support Houston’s children through the fine arts.

YAH Assistance Fund; this fund provides subsidized programs and services and forges collaborations with schools and children’s venues in the greatest need of financial support. Special attention is given to programs of YAH At-Risk, Special Needs and After School Divisions.

YAH Children’s Hospital “Healing Arts” Division; programs of this division utilize the tremendous power of the arts to spread joy, give hope, manage pain, and leave positive memories for hospitalized children. As many hospitalized children are required to be out of school for extended periods of time, Healing Arts programs also serve to enrich children's social, cultural, and academic education.
