Young Audiences of Houston has several areas in which we rely on volunteers to continue and grow our organization.  We understand how precious your time is and we are extremely thankful to all of the people that assist YAH with fulfilling its mission and sharing the arts with everyone.

Below is a list of a few specific areas of which we need volunteers for:

Office/ Administrative Volunteer

Assist YAH staff with administrative duties such as marketing, PR, data entry, research, mailings, design, and more.

Special Events Volunteer

YAH hosts several special events each year such as;

PREVIEWS- our annual showcase of arts-education programs through demonstrations and performances.  This event is free and open to the public and introduces attendees to the powerful and dynamic programs that are created for youth through Young Audiences.

Luncheon- our annual fundraiser which helps to raise awareness and funds to support the YAH Assistance Fund which helps to provide subsidized YAH arts-education programs to youth.

Education Committee Volunteer

The YAH Education/ Program Committee is an integral part of the organization and aides in support and growth through artist training, evaluation, program support, marketing, advocacy, and special events. Committee members should have an extensive arts-education background and knowledge of Young Audiences and its mission and a personal commitment and dedication to the arts.
