strategic initiatives

Come + Explore

Come and Explore is an innovative approach to systemic issues

around access and equity for

underserved communities, schools,

and children.

Discovery Arts

These programs were

introduced in response to the

need for specialized art programming

for children with learning differences and/or physical disabilities.

Healing Arts

For twenty-five years, our organization has partnered with local hospitals and specialized treatment centers serving children to provide free Young Audiences of Houston programming for children undergoing treatment.

Public Programs

Each month on-going free programs

are open to the public in partnership

with local libraries and organizations

in our community. These programs

allow the community to engage

with the arts in meaningful ways and celebrate our cultural vibrancy.

Arts + Environment

This unique program combines

visual arts, design, architecture and horticulture to create a living mural for participating schools and their community.

through schools that serve

high-risk students or children

who are incarcerated.

NID Project
