yah assistance fund
The Young Audiences of Houston Assistance Fund was established in 2007 and is used to directly sponsor, either in part or in full, requested Young Audiences of Houston programs in schools or community venues in the greatest financial need. A priority of the Fund is to support venues with limited access to the arts, where the impact of a Young Audiences of Houston program will have heightened and lasting results. Since it's inception the fund has supported over 1.5 million in free and subsidized programming for youth and communities.
Young Audiences expanded the Young Audiences of Houston Assistance Fund application process to include two focus areas: Tier 1 Application of one-time assistance funding for those that are facing severe budget cuts and shortfalls and Tier 2 Application that involves a comprehensive partnership system working with administrators, parents, and educators to build capacity and systems while leveraging funding through a combination of support to ensure the arts continue beyond the Young Audiences of Houston Assistance Fund.
Please plan to apply early, most requests average 3-6 months to review and secure support to establish programming.
